Keep your grass.
Give it backbone.

A natural lawn has a lot to handle. Reinforce the places that work hardest, with TR4 for dogs and backyards or GR11 for cars, parking and tougher traffic.

Two meshes. Two clear jobs.

Start with the traffic your grass needs to handle. Then choose the roll size and the right installation for your site.

Black TR4 mesh roll laid out on grass
TR4 · Dogs & backyards

Back your backyard.

A practical reinforcement layer for dog runs, well-used backyard areas and pedestrian routes. The open black mesh lets grass grow through while adding support where everyday traffic wears it down.

660 g/m² · 24mm aperture · Black · Recycled, UV-stabilised HDPE

Choose TR4 for everyday backyard wear. Ask us about persistent digging, waterlogging or poor grass growth so the underlying problem is addressed too.

GR11 · Cars & tougher traffic

Keep parking on the grass.

A thicker green reinforcement mesh for grass parking, driveways, vehicle routes and areas that need more support against wear and rutting. Match the mesh, ground conditions and installation to the traffic.

11mm thick · 1,200 g/m² · Green · Polyethylene mesh

For cars, boats, caravans and vehicle use, tell us about the load, frequency and ground conditions before choosing your setup.

A better result starts underneath.

Reinforcement supports your grass. A reasonably level, well-drained surface and good grass establishment still matter, especially where vehicles will travel.

1. Measure and prepare.

Measure the length and width of the area, then plan the roll layout. Mow and check the surface before installation. Raise drainage, soft-ground or slope concerns with us first.

2. Roll out and pin closely.

Fit the mesh close to the grass surface and secure the edges and joins. Use the pinning guide for the correct pin angle and spacing; keep pins flush with or below the mesh profile.

3. Let the lawn knit through.

Encourage the grass to grow into the mesh and inspect fixings as it establishes. Keep mowing equipment clear of exposed mesh and pins. Ask us when your site is ready for its planned traffic.

Don’t forget the fixings.

Steel U-shaped pins are sold separately in packs of 50. The GR11 pinning guide suggests 50 pins for a 1m × 10m roll and at least 200 for a 2m × 20m roll. Confirm quantities for your layout and TR4 installation with us.

Roll coverage is nominal: allow for your layout, joins and trimming. For example, a 4m × 10m rectangle is 40 m² before those allowances.

A few things your mate should know.

Which mesh should I use for a dog run?

Start with TR4 for dog runs, backyard routes and everyday foot traffic. Tell us about digging, shade, drainage and the condition of the grass so we can check that mesh is the right next step.

Can I park my car on it?

GR11 is the starting point for grass parking and vehicle traffic. Suitability depends on the ground, vehicle load, frequency of use and installation. Email us a few photos and the details before choosing a vehicle setup.

Will the natural grass keep growing?

The open mesh allows natural grass to grow through and become part of the reinforced surface. Grass still needs enough light, water and routine care; mesh does not replace healthy soil or suitable drainage.

Are the pins included?

No. Pins are sold separately. Use the pinning guide and discuss your roll layout with us to work out the right fixing quantity.

How do I choose the right roll size?

Measure length × width for square metres, then sketch the roll layout. Allow for joins and trimming rather than choosing only by total area. Send the dimensions and photos if you would like a hand.
