Recommended Rates
Gardens
- 500gm / m2 (raked, cultivated or hoed in)
- Pots/Tree planting etc – Between 5% and 20% of soil mix (more for sand, less for loam and clay soils)
Lawns
- New lawns prior to planting, seeding or turfing - 500gm / m2 (raked, cultivated or hoed in to 100mm)
- Existing lawns – the capacity is still 500gm / m2 but best do it in multiple applications eg, 2 x 250gm / m2
- Minimum application – 100gm / m2
