Spartan prevents germination of listed grass weeds in established turf. It does not remove weeds that have already emerged.
Established bahia, buffalo, carpet grass, common/hybrid couch, kikuyu, Queensland blue couch, seashore paspalum and listed zoysia.

Application equipment
♧ Knapsack / handheld
The dose is based on the area treated. Calibrate using clean water, then scale the product and carrier volume for that area. Use only equipment permitted by the full label; the table is not a fixed tank-mix recipe.
▦ Boom / large area
Use the target-specific hectare rate and carrier volume above. Follow all equipment, droplet, drift and irrigation directions in the full label.
Before you apply
- Apply before germination. Wash in with at least 6 mm irrigation or rainfall within 7 days.
- Rates depend on weed species and required residual period. Read establishment, overseeding and annual maximum directions.
